Add the possibility to create a notification area in the panel itself #3

I do not use the title bar of the panels on my small screens to save place. However, I like the idea of the notifications like you did.

Would it be possible to create a widget in the panel itself where notifications could be displayed if required?

This doesn't sound too hard. I'll have time to look into this in February.

If you want to try it yourself, it's probably just some editing of the HTML to make it valid in a panel tile.
