acquisition closes after logging in before displaying the main window (v0.10.2) #22

After copying and pasting the POESESSID value and clicking login, the login dialogue closes, but the main window never opens.

This was caused by the json in my data files not being parsed correctly, which was my own fault for playing with the sql database format in development versions.
