OSGswig is described somewhere as a python wrapper os OSG based on swig
that should be available for the mainstreams operating system, and not
only windows. But the download section, and the empty cvs, does not
suggest that is is so. Is there some way to have osgswig for linux ?

You can get osgswig for linux by using a subversion client (svn) to download the
source. You'll then need to configure and make for your system.

Linux with all its different flavoura will probably only supported as source
