Can you add some fontawesome icon links to a couple of popular social media like facebook etc? Or put in the footer?

Thank you for your comment, this is a very good idea! I will try to integrate the social media buttons like I've done in the WordPress version of Tikva. I will open a new issue for this task.

So now the NavBar follow the user down the page so to speak?

Can it be hidden?

You can switch the behavior. The default is fixed-to-top. If you disable this (option: "Navigation bar fixed to top": deactivate), the site title moves up and the NavBar will be placed below. In this case the NavBar scrolls up as another content.

How about adding bg-secondary option for the navigation bar background? This color is often given as one of the standard options in Bootswatch, for example this. As you can see the second option equals the secondary color of the theme but is unavailable in Tikva.

(I understand that this issue is dedicated to all improvements to the navigation bar, sorry if I had to open a separate issue and not comment here)
