The project POM is invalid

What version of gwt and gwt-incubator are you using?
2.0.1

What OS and browser are you using?
Ubuntu Linux + Chromium

Do you see this error in hosted mode, web mode, or both?
During build time.

Maven tells the following about gwt-incubator dependency:

[WARNING] POM for 'com.google.gwt:gwt-incubator:pom:2.0.1:compile' is invalid. 
It will be ignored for artifact resolution. Reason: Parse error reading POM. 
Reason: unexpected character in markup \r (position: START_TAG seen ...res,\r\n

, you will probably notice the error inside the <description> element.

This is an unfortunate error to have published in a maven repository. Given the 
simplicity of the fix, any chance of expediting a release?

Are we saying that since February the pom has a parse error in it on Maven 
central?
Is this the way to get new users to use GWT?
It doesn't give a good first impression.
