Closed rillig closed 5 months ago

rillig commented 5 months ago

Subject of the issue

In 1970 Shuko challenged Rin in the 9th Meijin title match.

generates:

When referring to a person, consider using 'has a disability or person with a disability or people with disabilities' instead of 'challenged'. (by 'alex' style guide)

Expected behaviour

No warning, as neither of these two people is disabled.

Actual behaviour

The verb challenged is wrongly interpreted as an adjective.

Hey! There are many “false positives”. Because human language is complex. You can use Alex if you want. To check for potential things. You are using some in between tool that says “When referring to a person”. You probably have some ways to ignore things with that tool. See the readme here otherwise, if you want to configure alex.
