Different descriptions when using Alby on Linktree #1615

Describe the bug

Fab vs. ab see screenshot. And where do we take the description from: "View fabthefox´s linktree. Listen to their music on Spotify here." I is a podcast not music.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Visit https://linktr.ee/fabthefox)](https://linktr.ee/fabthefox
  2. Click on Alby extension

Expected behavior

Correct spelling of the name. A description that fits to the profile. happy to help if I know what we can read out from Linktree.

Ah sorry for this, confused because of Alby's linktree name being @getalby so thought everything starts with an @ symbol cutting the first character off.

The description part seems weird, must be an issue with linktree not updating the meta description as soon as the user updates the description. Fetching it right from the page anyways!
