Auth appears broken when using Codespaces #816

@hanc2006 Is that occurring for you right now? I've logged in and out repeatedly from VS Code with a number of GitHub accounts but I can't reproduce the problem you're seeing. Could you provide more info please?

v0.102.0

I use codespace + copilot extension, and I am logged in with my github account.

The second dialog box does not appear in my macos. Any VSCode settings that are wrong?

Hi @hanc2006 , this is very likely an issue just with Codespaces, not your VS Code settings. We will take a further look on our side to try and figure it out! Apologies for the inconvenience.

Same here, I'm on windows and using Cursor IDE which is built on top of VSCode.

@petecheslock since you just worked with Codespaces, is this still a problem?

Yea just tested - basically works fine with local VS Code, but in the browser the links to auth don't open correctly, might be a security setting or issue? Here is a loom showing the issue. https://www.loom.com/share/aceb43a0f2f940e1a3e2fd9a167e55e2
