Arch Linux (running KDE 6.0.2)
3) If you can, steps to reproduce are super helpful
Open a file that's in a protected folder like /opt/. In my screenshot, I was trying to modify Xampp's error log (/opt/lampp/logs/error_log)
Make any changes to that file and try to save it
When the "Insufficient permissions" prompt appears, select "Retry as Sudo"
Enter your password in the prompt that appears on-screen
Watch as saving fails because permission is denied
Not sure if relevant, but I use AppImageLauncher to manage Cursor and and other appimages.
Also, this functionality works correctly on the latest Visual Studio Code. If I open the same file with VSCode and I try to modify it, saving as sudo works just fine.
