1) If you can, please include a screenshot of your problem 2) Please include the name of your operating system 3) If you can, steps to reproduce are super helpful

Liniux 24.04 LTS

Steps to reproduce: Go to File -> Open a new folder System freezes and renders everything impossible to use. Need to restart system again.

Have to restart gnome to unfreeze. Instead of clicking the main button in the center, click the File menu option and select the open folder there. This is my workaround
