Composer on second screen/floating window #1690

The composer feature is great!

It would be so much better, if one could move the window outside the boundaries of the main window. I am not able to use composer on a second screen.

I completely agree, I came here to suggest the same thing.

The Composer mode is so powerful, I love the feature. It would be way more powerful for productivity if the Composer window could be maximized on a second monitor.

Being able to have the IDE on your main monitor with Composer on your second monitor would be amazing for productivity in this AI pair programmer workflow.

Haha, while searching if this was already possible, came along here.

Yes, please add this as a feature. It would boost productivity tremendously. Because as of now, the only possibility would be to open another cursor window with the same project, but then there might most definitely be some errors with file states, as the composer will still make changes and the other instance might not update it correctly?
