Unable to sign in cursor on Ubuntu-22.04 #1949

i have installed the cursor ai editor on ubuntu 22.04 using the instruction in https://zohebabai.medium.com/install-cursor-ai-as-an-application-on-a-linux-system-b859e7d28f5f. Cursor editor launch correctly. and to you use the ai features you have to sign in but when i want to click on the sign in button nothing happen ( dont work).

this is my cursor ai version : Version: 0.41.1 VSCode Version: 1.91.1 Commit: 10e3716b510a5d447c1a07b2edd37a352bbea4d0 Date: 2024-09-18T07:38:06.522Z Electron: 29.4.0 ElectronBuildId: undefined Chromium: 122.0.6261.156 Node.js: 20.9.0 V8: 12.2.281.27-electron.0 OS: Linux x64 6.8.0-45-generic

any help?

I just installed Cursor. Apple M2. My VPN is set on, and I am Nigerian, based in St Petersburg Russia. Is there a reason I cannot login or signup from the Mac desktop application?

I restarted my computer, and it works.
