Unable to get student discount.

There is a prompt on the main page where we can ask questions. It indicated that there is a student discount, however when following the instructions, I never see a step where it asks for me to verify my studentship.

Well bad news folks. They got back to me via email:

Thanks for your interest in a student discount for Cursor! Unfortunately we are not providing any kind of discount for students at the moment. You may of course still try Cursor for free with the 'free tier' limitations.

So yeah. Seems they used to have a student discount but for whatever insane reason they removed it...
