from `master` to `main` #985

We should also rename the default branch of our own repositories from master to main.

Changing the branch requires a lot of work on our side, including build scripts, all our projects, etc, so it's unlikely it will be renamed until a bigger release. I will close this as I see no point of having this pull request until that change is being done.
