Feature request: Possibility to modify the time format of the date field and to choose the first day of the week #589

I did not find a way to format the date for date field. And the weeks start from Sunday which is not the standard where I live. Would be nice if the formatting would follow the default grav formatting (or could be manually set). And also possibility to choose the day when week starts would enhance the usability.
