When trying to use the login plugin on a website to deny access to all bar the home page, an error occurs whereby refreshing the page can show:
different usernames per refresh
login screen as if not logged in
logged out message, but still showing the logged in content
The first of these issues can be seen in the attached video (just watch the menu at the top to see the username change)
Matias on Discord offered the suggestion that I disabled caching per page, which I've tried, and as that didn't work I disabled caching site-wide - same problem.
As a final test I ensured that Cloudflare's caching was disabled, but this didn't help.
The website is hosted on TSO Host, who use a load balanced environment including multiple servers serving the content. Maybe the issue lies here?
