I have a blog and some other pages.
The home page alias point to home page, and it's not the blog page as it's made in many demo skeletons.
Let's say that my blog has url address grav-blog.
So, once the blog or blog item is opened, the base_url in a search form is appended with grav-blog slug what leads to 404 error.
Changing the home page to grav-blog solves the problem. But it's not the solution!
