It's a minor thing, but I was just chasing my tail for an hour so I'm gonna post this...
For content scanning, either Simple or Textrank, if the first line of your content is an image in Markdown format AND there's no line break before your HTML, it breaks the scan somehow and a description will not be generated
ie
Breaks the scan:
![puppy-on-carpet](puppy-on-carpet.jpg "puppy-on-carpet")
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet</p>
Works fine:
![puppy-on-carpet](puppy-on-carpet.jpg "puppy-on-carpet")
<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet</p>
Also works (for some reason):
![puppy-on-carpet](puppy-on-carpet.jpg "puppy-on-carpet")
<p data="foo">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet</p>
you also need to have your CSS Selectors set correctly in the Settings or it'll scan the whole page... maybe this will save someone my heartache. <3
