Bug: Commit d127d5e breaks banner image on index page #174

Summary

After commit d127d5e2246962119bb8f677ce4e8a0522906d92, the site no longer shows the banner image at the top of the site

Background

I rebased latest upstream commits from dot-hugo into our downstream fork of this theme, and noticed that the header banner disappeared from the site.
