Point Leaderboard #7

In the current Makerlog, we have the concept of "streaks" in which every time you log a task, it increments the number of days you have continuously logged tasks.

While this is cool, it does have its caveats, in that it is not sustainable to keep a streak going without potentially getting burnout and overall harming your mental health. We don't want that.

So in the rebuild, streaks will disappear in favor of points and a leaderboard.

Every activity you can imagine on the site will award you points. The more points you get the higher you go up the leaderboard. But be aware, you can lose points also by being a bad actor or redeeming them for perks.

I do like the streaks feature. It keeps me making steady progress. Would not like to see it going away completely, maybe it can be eased up though.
