Hi,

We are buindling a repository for Spanish remote job-seekers at:

https://github.com/remote-es/remotes

The repository lists companies which offer remote jobs which offer full-time Spanish contracts. We have noticed that:

https://github.com/getmanfred/offers/wiki

could be useful resource, but we'd like to know:

We will only list companies which allow working fully remotely (e.g. you can work from anywhere in Spain and you do not have to set foot in an office if you don't want to). Some occasional travelling for onboarding, team building or similar purposes is fine.

Would it be safe to assume that only offers marked as "FULL REMOTE" in your listings satisfy those requirements

...

If you could confirm those, we are thinking of adding something like:

Manfred https://github.com/getmanfred/offers/wiki , only offers listed as "FULL REMOTE" and with a salary range in euros. This is a recruiting agency

to our page if you don't have an issue with that.

Also, if you wish to explore further collaboration with us, we would be interested in discussion.

Hi Alex,

This is Gorka from Manfred :)

Yes, that's correct, when there's a salary range in euros that's a Spanish contract.

We are standardizing the titles of our offers, the proper one is FULL REMOTE, but I'm afraid that you can still find offers that indicate in the title:

REMOTE FULL TIME FULL REMOTE Full Remote REMOTE)

Indicating the same thing. Regarding further collaboration, sure thing! My email is gorka@getmanfred.com drop me a line and we talk.

Regards,

Could you specify which offers are under Spanish contracts? Would it be valid to assume that companies listing a salary range in dollars do not offer a Spanish contract and ones listing in euros do offer a Spanish contract?

As we say in: https://github.com/remote-es/remotes#conditions

We will only list companies which allow working fully remotely (e.g. you can work from anywhere in Spain and you do not have to set foot in an office if you don't want to). Some occasional travelling for onboarding, team building or similar purposes is fine.

Perfect, I've opened a PR for review in our org to see if we add a link to you guys ( https://github.com/remote-es/remotes/pull/19 ).

I don't think it will be an issue, but if you could guarantee that you will keep using FULL REMOTE and euros salaries for Spanish contracts (or, maybe, set a policy that if you publish an offer which doesn't do Spanish contracts, you will note so in the listing), that would be fantastic.

I'd rather discuss this in the open. My thoughts are:

If you wish to discuss further we can use this issue (or you can open tickets to us for specific stuff, I guess), but once we have clarified that your job listing is good for us, we don't mind if you close this issue.

Hi Alex,

Yes, from a few weeks back onward, we are just using FULL REMOTE to indicate when a company really allows remote work, when it's kind of once/twice a week remotely, then, we indicate it with Remote Friendly.

Sure thing we can spread the word about your page!

I'd rather discuss this in the open. My thoughts are:

  • Perhaps you could send us PRs when you find out about more companies offering remote positions with Spanish contracts? Perhaps it goes slightly against your company's interests, but well, you are also getting some visibility from us
  • Maybe you could spread the word about the page among candidates and companies?

Cool, after some internal discussion, we've added you guys to the listing in:

https://github.com/remote-es/remotes#others

You can close this if you want. Keep us in your minds :)

Hi Alex,

Sure, we'll do! By the way, do you have a website or social media accounts? I looked for remote es and found https://twitter.com/remotees and https://remotees.com/ but it's not you :)
