Would kill for some interactions like this. and the ability to set a default action set when selecting an object/text/etc.

User selects box w. cursor and then:

turns dial to shift brightness Button cycles thru the following options and dial shifts values up and down hue saturation then back to brightness

User selects text w. cursor and then:

turns dial to shift font-style Button cycles thru the following options and Dial shifts values up and down. font-size letter-spacing line-spacing then back to font-style

Sounds great! Let's see if we at Senic or the Nuimo Community can build such an integration.

@larsblumberg If Nuimo can begin to focus on making it easier for the users to interact with apps, and also micro-interact as @lnkn said (i.e. different keys, shortcuts, scripts based on different tools within those apps).

Photoshop has a whole toolbox that can be messed with, It would be a dream to be able to add a multiple shortcuts just for text-font selection-size-line-height-kerning, and multiple shortcuts for paintbrush hardness, size etc.

The Nuimo software in its current form cannot really replace keyboard shortcuts if we can only automate like 7 gestures for such a complex app.

This applies to many apps, and a good coder, UX designer and Specialized professional (graphic designer, coder, CAD, Video Editor) could be hired to do that for the world's most common apps. I bet the costs would not be exorbitant, especially if the project is open-sourced as it is now, with some form of incentivization. Its shocking how much you can get people doing if they can win something or help themselves and others for credit.

If I, tomorrow, made a Nuimo specific app for photoshop that did the whole shabang I BET it would lead me down a proper path careeer-wise, especially if supported by SENIC.

Come on guys, time to step it up. This isn't a gimmick product, let us have some real functionality

@larsblumberg Like if I made a BLE product with 10 buttons that can handle applescript and keyboard shortcuts, I've pretty much made a crappy Nuimo. The software and compatibility is the differentiator.

@omarei Thanks for your message and your thoughtful suggestions. We want to bring Nuimo to a level where Nuimo is not only able to change Photoshop's brush size or brush hardness but also do context sensitive actions such changing the font size. We already have great integrations with some tools, such as iTunes or Spotify. We also have users who use Nuimo as an awesome video playback controller for QuickTime. The thing with Photoshop is that it doesn't really allow a deep integration by design due to the way how Photoshop is brought to MacOS, i.e. they don't provide an AppleScript API (that would allow for complex integrations as you suggest) and there's also no way of reading Photoshop's user interface (would open doors, too) on the contrary to "more native" MacOS applications. What we do need here is more support from Photoshop. We don't have contacts yet to Adobe. But if you can introduce me to somebody from their engineering team, please let me know.
