I believe the ingest team is thinking of updating how we handle filters and allowing for flexibility in the filters. not sure if their idea totally would encapsulate what you are proposing (and they don't have a timeline on the project) ,I wanted to bring it up
Problem Statement
As customers scale and Sentry talks to more mobile developers the ability to apply global inbound filters to a project without making SDK changes would be helpful. Currently, the inbound filters are more of a flag or single point of data (release number or error message). It would be helpful to be able to write customer inbound filters so that they can take into account multiple factors and be more targeted in the filters approach.
