Promo code is ignored if user signs up using Google #76501

Environment

SaaS (https://sentry.io/)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to the signup page: https://sentry.io/signup/
  2. Fill out the needed information
  3. Enter a valid promo code
  4. Select the sign up with Google option
  5. The promo is not applied on the freshly created org

Expected Result

the promo should be applied

Actual Result

the promo is not applied

Thank you for submitting this issue!

I wanted to ask if the screenshot below is the page you are referring to in step 5 (The promo is not applied on the freshly created org) of recreating the issue. If so, are you suggesting we include a text field for inputting promo codes on that page and pre-populate the page with data from https://sentry.io/signup/?
