GNOME Software testing: eopkg packagekit install progress bar broken #2823

Summary

Currently when installing an eopkg application in gnome software, the overall install progress bar shows 'preparing' instead of showing 'installing' with the percentage. Packages do install just fine though.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open gnome software
  2. Find an app in the solus repos
  3. Click install
  4. Enjoy

Expected result

The status shows 'installing' when installing

Actual result

The status shows 'preparing' when installing

Other comments

I also have plymouth installed, so when I tested G/S offline updates for this sync, the install progress on the plymouth splash screen worked just fine.

Not sure why this isn't working as it the percentage get picked up when installing applications for cosmic store and discover. There seems to be some work on fiddling around with the progress for gnome 47 so will revisit then.
