solus systemd[1]: Failed to start nvidia-powerd service. #317

Summary

Not sure if it's a real bug, but the output of sudo systemctl status nvidia-powerd is:

So this functionality is for laptops which support dynamically shifting the power budget to give more power to the GPU when your workload (like a game) is bottlenecked by the GPU. Or vice-versa for the CPU.

From SBIOS support not found for NVPCF GET_SUPPORTED fun> it looks like your laptop isn't supported
