Summary
Hello,
When I boot into the live environment (without using nomodeset), everything works fine (I'm using the latest Solus ISO with GNOME). However, after installing Solus and rebooting, I only get a black screen. I can switch to a TTY, but I see the following error:
'nouveau 0000:02:00.0: DRM: base-0: timeout'
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Updating the entire system
Attempting to start GNOME manually with startx (it fails, and after exiting, the screen becomes off-centered and displays artifacts)
Switching to a different display manager
Booting with nouveau.nomodeset
I'm experiencing the same issue on Debian Testing, but I'm not sure where else to ask.
