Other comments

Error does not appear with Etcher AppImage downloaded from Etcher site, but AppImage is version 1.18.11 vice version 1.18.13 in Solus.

On the balena-io/etcher github site the same error message is listed as issue #4138 for Kubuntu 23.10, and the workaround used in that instance is to remove gconf dependencies when building Etcher. See https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/issues/4138
