I just came here to request this, what are the odds this was created just hours ago.

The problem for me is that video files I attempt to play via Jellyfin or Plex sometimes have to transcode server side in order to play on Roku or Chromecast.

That transcoding eats up all the processing power of the raspberry pi, causing the video playback to freeze and buffer.

Unmanic would allow that transcoding to happen during off hours, so that playback is smooth by the time I want to consume the content.
