Hello,

to make Lightning more efficient every channel you open should have a 0 as base fee. See https://lnrouter.app/graph/zero-base-fee and https://arxiv.org/abs/2107.05322

PS: it would be nice if I could see and set these values before I open a channel.

Zero base fee is a personal configuration. It shouldn't be forced by default. I think umbrel might have an advanced configuration panel in the LN dashboard with these options
