Enhancement Feedback on Open Applications #288

I noticed something strange/possible network effect way Microsoft does things, An open application on Windows 11 + XboxOS allows you to create a "Group" for instance only TV Streaming Apps or Games can be separated.

Similarly to "Background App Refresh" on Apple iOS and iPadOS,

Upon launching an app it is still running you can switch back to it or turn Background App Refresh off on Apple, whilst having Background App Refresh on you can still switch back to apps not running.

You're able to do this within Microsoft's ecosystem too, Stream from console to a monitor to cast to a screen and control from a PC including piping audio through different sources,

The suggestion would be (I really like there is no bloatware on umbrelOS when you first install), but once you launch an app often there is a time window of roughly a few seconds upon opening app in-browser,

Perhaps by default there could be groups to denote only self-hosting image apps for instance, or LLMs into a certain group the user creates (as we know they take up more resources), just Bitcoin + Lightning/other node implementations or clients, or it groups it by default in the interface,

In my opinion this may solve some recurring issues of an application loading longer in a separate window or modal and could spawn many other QoL improvements, just dropping a thought to help streamline development and spur some more ideas and start diving in more open-source development that was on my mind for a while, thank you! Keep fighting the good fight!

Wanted to label as simply feature/enhancement, feel free to close- will make any further contributions likely through community app more substantive and non-sporadic or too often, ty!!
