Collection documents size does not change after deleting documents #357

Describe the bug Deleting documents from a Zep Vector store collection does not reduce the document count in the collection.

To Reproduce Index 2 files in a collection. Delete 1 file from the index The document size of the collection remains same.

Expected behavior Documents size/count in the collection should reduce

We've deprecated Collections in Zep CE v1.0 and will no longer support them going forward. They'll still be available in Zep v0.x, but we won't be bug fixing this release. There are many great vector databases available as a service. We encourage you to try out Pinecone and similar.

What is the vector replaced with? can we do vector RAG in ZepCE? is Document RAG and Semantic search possible in Zep CE?

We've deprecated Zep's document vector store and recommend users investigate using Pinecone or open source vector databases.

Okay. My sincere request the team to bring back Zep's document store. Let it be there. There are developer who want locally hosted Vector store.

I understand; however, it's not our core focus, and there are too many other great vector stores, including locally hosted ones, for it to make sense to invest further here.

You may want to look at Weaviate, Chroma, Qdrant, and Milvius. They're all open source and can be run locally.
