It doesn't matter that much what board id I do, as long as I document something.

DummyX86PlatformPlugin.kext.zip

Here's a dummy kext I put together that patches IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext (X86PlatformPlugin.kext in particular) documented in the issue you linked.

This enables us to use Macbook8,1 SMBios Mac-BE0E8AC46FE800CC with proper power management. (usually kernel panics upon starting when using SSDT generated by ssdtPRGen.) leaving the original file untouched
