Hello, here is a couple of changes I made to reduce the home page load times. (Reduced from ~13MB to less than ~3MB)

Improved the initial home page load times by lazy loading the images.
Shaved about 10MB by converting the images to WebP format (+fallback for incompatible web browsers).
Minor tweaks.
