Event information not displayed in Google Chrome #386

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Google Chrome (current Version 6.. did not try in 5)
2. Go to http://www.simile-widgets.org/timeplot/
3. See the timeplot graph of Immigration history. The event values are not 
shown on the graph. The separators for the years are also missing. Check 
Firefox for comparison.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Events are displayed and time separators are shown.

What version of the product are you using? On what browser and what
operating system?
Windows XP. Google Chrome 6 beta

Please provide any additional information below.
All the charts on SIMILE for timeplot are also not showing any event 
information.

Have the same issue. We use Git and not SVN. Any plans there?

I don't even see any events anymore, Chrome, Firefox and Safari (all on Mac).
