Blender 4.0 supports creation of shortcuts by going to any menu and selecting the menu option with the Right Mouse Button. This brings a menu on top of the previous menu that allows assigment or removal of the shortcuts.
Currently, FLTK cannot support that (it must close the original menu first, which is confusing to the user).
I found this Blender feature a very intuitive way of creating shortcuts and would make Window->Hotkeys a tad redundant.
