Describe the bug
When going to presentation mode on X11 on Linux, crashes can happen on some Linux distributions (Rocky Linux 8.9 suffers from it, Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS does not). Wayland and XWayland seem to be okay. Going to presentation mode on the Secondary viewport is also fine.
The bug has been fixed for v1.1.7 (or in the sourceforge betas) and in a re-relase of v1.1.6.
To Reproduce
Log in onto Linux with Xorg (GNOME or Ubuntu or similar on some distros)
Open a movie, image or sequence.
Go to Presentation Mode In and Out several times (press F12 several times)
A likely crash can happen on some distros.
Expected behavior
Not to crash, of course.
