Unclean crash when making primitive calls from python

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Call findInRay() with the first two parameters not being Vector3f s
2. attempt to print anything immediately after
3. This should cause some really weird crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should crash when findInRay gets incorrect input. Instead it keeps going and 
breaks some time later.
