Hello!
I was hoping to get some insight into how I could potentially use aldex to capture the more "2D" aspects of my data when comparing multiple conditions, that is distinguishing taxa that are differentially abundant either between genotypes, between ages, or some combination of the two. These are not repeated measures, so would it make sense for me to encode age (4 timepoints starting at P17) as a dummy variable that I could incorporate into my model matrix, along with genotype?
Furthermore, is there any way to account for repeated measures in aldex that would allow analysis of longitudinal data in a future experiment?

Thanks so much!
