(first the nagging...)
with the old component, we could easily focus the Releases panel and a master release would automaticly load+open.
We then could press the CRSR-DOWN key and scroll through all the master releases to load+open them very very quickly.
The old component expanded all loaded master releases on next component start. very nice!
This all is very convenient for the user as it is very fast in a daily taggin business.
Now, with the modded component, we have to doubleclick each release, or click the preceded + for each master release.
Unfortunately, the modded component don't remember the (expanded) state and everytime we open the Find Release Window, we're forced to open all master releases again to have a nice overview. (Yes, we could filter, but sometimes you just like to browse and take an easy look to the data)
Secondly, when we filter for some text, which is not in the master release, but in the normal release under that master release, we need to open that master release to see the filtered result, which is cumbersome and irritating.
So the suggestions/question(s) are:
-Can we have an option to deactivate this new "tree-view" and get back the old view (a per user config, I don't want to force this for all users)
-Can we have the modded component keep the expanded state on next start, so we get the same view, as we left that window? (nobody likes it to start all over again to configure a view for old data)
-Can the filter also show the actually results, not only the master release containing the result?
Also, it seems to me (my subjective perception) that the new tree-view is much slower than the old text-view.
The filtering result takes up to 2 seconds on an artists with only 50 releases, while the old component showed it immediately.
This is a simple "speed compare video" (top: old component / bottom: modded component)
