Android market is not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install google application
2. Select a program for installation using android market
3. Observe download failure

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The program to be downloaded sucessfully.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android-on-freerunner-cupcake-week-2009-44.tar.gz

Please provide any additional information below.
Make /cache to be symlink that points to existing /data/cache directory out
of the box (after boot).

Try reading the Wiki and checking back through the mailing list archives for 
details, 
but the Freerunner is not officially supported by Google so we cannot access 
Market. 

That is why we have an Applications page on the Wiki:

I know all that. I wrote about android market app so you can have background of 
my
request.

I simply ask for the /cache to be symlink that points to existing /data/cache
directory after boot. Is there reason not to do that?
