Sending multimedia messages (MMS) failes #150

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check your APN-settings in to be correct (Settings -> Wireless Controls ->
Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names).
2. Choose a picture (e.g.) and try to send it via MMS / as multimedia message.
3. Wait for the result.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The picture sould be sent. After some time (some automatic retries) I get an
error message that the MMS couldn't be sent.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
My mobile network carrier is 'Orange' (Austria), I'm quite sure that my
APN-settings
(https://code.google.com/p/android-on-freerunner/issues/detail?id=68#c51) are
correct - they work for GPRS and I can also receive MMS without any problems.
I'll attach my logfile.

OK, I was able to send a multimedia message today (on the same cupcake-release
as mentioned above) - but the feature isn't working stable. I suppose the
problem has something to do with the size of the multimedia-content.

I sent a picture with 12 KB without any problems (repeatedly). After clicking
'send' the APN changes from 'Orange AT' to 'Orange AT-MMS' and after
successfully sending the message the default APN ('Orange AT' in my case) is
restored.

I tried the same with a picture with 28 KB. After several retries (APN
switches) I get the error prompt that my message couldn't be sent.

In both cases I took a picture in the gallery-application and chose the option
'send' -> 'SMS/MMS'. The original pictures are much bigger than 12 KB / 28 KB
(251,2 KB / 684,7 KB), so when the SMS/MMS-application opens they get
compressed and 'converted' (whatever...) before I chose a contact.

However, 28 KB shouldn't be too much for a multimedia message...

I attach another logfile; the one above was useless as there was a typing error
in my APN settings.
