Routing Media Audio to Mono Bluetooth Headset #161

This would be a really nice feature to have supported on the freerunner and
will allow users with mono headsets and handsfree car kits to enjoy listening
to music and podcasts.

The link below has sample code which I have run on the GTA02 with partial
success. I am able to run the app and it appears that the audio is being
routed to the bluetooth headset unfortunately no sound can be heard even with
the latest incall bluetooth patch.

Perhaps a developer with the same itch to scratch can tweak the code to work
nicely with the freerunner and perhaps include the app once it is working in
the source tree.

http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=7906 (look for file
testinband.java)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install testinband.apk
2. Pair and connect bluetooth headset
3. Run testinband app
4. play ogg file in stock media player

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is that sound from the media player is routed to the
bluetooth headset. Instead no sound is heard at all and freerunner runs very
slowly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Hardware: Openmoko Freerunner GTA02 vA5
Operating System: AoF Cupcake built 2010-11-12

Please provide any additional information below.
in case the post is removed I have also included testinband.java as an
attachment for review.
