Date format when locale is not "English" #57

What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. Parameters --> Locale --> Anything but en_* (check with Catalan, for
instance)
1. Parameters --> Date and Time --> Automatic (uncheck)
2. Define Date
3. Change the date

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The title of the popup window changes from "Date" to the selected date,
except the day is labelled by its number, not by its name (i.e. "Fri, 2009
10 23" is replaced by "6, 2009 10 23")

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I had the chance to see Cupcake running on another device and this issue is not
specific to Android-on-Freerunner.
It is not present in Eclair / Master, BTW.
