UI not scaled for a higher resolution #58

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The topbar and icons are too small compared to the rest of the screen.
2. The mp3 player doesn't have centering issues, it just needs to be scaled.
3. Compare screenshots of the G1 and the freerunner. The G1 is scaled properly

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see every button, menu, and UI scaled exactly like on the G1
and others.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This affects every android distro.

Please provide any additional information below.

I believe this is a huge issue as it prevents anyone from creating an app
that is displayed properly on every phone.

I found a better screenshot of the mp3 player scaled properly.

Now if you see on your freerunner you will notice a few things. The icons are
smaller
and spaced out more. They are also off center.

The topbar on the freerunner is also smaller and hard to grab where as on the
g1 its
easy to see and access.

This is either a problem with specific applications or with the Android
platform.
Supposedly Donut has better support for differing resolutions, but ultimately
it's
also up to application developers taking advantage of the tools the platform
supplies.
In any case, I don't see trying to fix this sort of problem as a priority for
the
android-on-freerunner project.
