path to the folder looks right.
make sure that the user "subsonic" has read access to your folder. That's the only thing I can think of. You should be able to right click on the Music folder, choose properties and then go to permissions and if not listed then add the subsonic user with Read Only access.
Some versions did have a quirk where you would have to give access to the top level folder (in your case backup) so if the above doesn't work try giving subsonic user read only access to the Backup folder.

Hi, Long time Subsonic user on the PC, have had a licence for years - installed on Synology NAS (DS916+ 8GB) but for some reason it does not seem to find the media folder. Could use some help...really can't figure it out, much to my shame and embarrassment. Many thanks in advance!
