I added a comment to the closed item entitled "Music Isn't Indexed" because I was having the same problem as sandinmyjoints. It had me pulling out my hair. I couldn't find anything wrong with the setup: a brand new DS918+, read access for "subsonic" user to "/volume1/Music" where all my music was waiting (it was already working fine with Logitech Media Server which I use with venerable Squeezeboxes. Subsonic wasn't throwing up a "Folder not found" complaint but it just wouldn't scan. After flipping many switches and getting nowhere, I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Subsonic. I can't really say what I did differently. The installation looks the same in all respects. But now it works. I greatly appreciate the work GHenry22 has put into this project. Subsonic and LMS are the two main reasons I got the Synology unit to replace a Windows Home Server that Microsoft has now declared EOL.
