[Feature request] Customize the script #1

First of all, thanks for your work. This script is really nice and I think it helps showing the idea that with KDE you can basically do anything.

I think this script could really benefit from some customization options. IMO user should be able to enable/disable the following things:

Thanks for detailing the features. I am looking to add some customization to it, but first I have to fix a few other issues with the current functionality.

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time right now to work on it, so it's probably going to take a while until I get to do the Options part. If you know anybody who might be interesting in contributing, I'd love to merge some pull requests or give commit access directly.
