Does this work on all 720p series? MIXJ04CM QDJ4016GL #18

Hi, from https://github.com/ghoost82/mijia-720p-hack/issues/10 I know that this hack is for the MJSXJ01CM series.

In my country, the official distributed series are MIXJ04CM and QDJ4016GL.

So I'd like to ask if this mod works on all 720p series or it only works on MJSXJ01CM?

I used this on the 720 Chuangmi, the stream in VLC works fine.

I'd like to confirm that it works. The irony is I ordered a MJSXJ01CM but the seller delivered a MIXJ04CM (QDJ4016GL is just the SKU number of this model!). I was lazy to claim so I thought I'd give the hack a try :)

At first, there were some glitches, the camera can be disconnected at anytime or when I tried to perform some actions (view recorded videos, control the camera, change settings etc...) So I decided to upgrade the firmware to latest and buy a super fast microsd (Sandisk Extreme Pro), and it seems to be working quite reliably. Don't know if the issue came from the old firmware or the old microsd (pre-EVO model, but features are similar to Samsung Evo Plus).

A strange thing is: After a restart or power cycle, I can not SSH using Putty (always gives the "Access denied" error). But as long as I use WinSCP to login, I can always connect via Putty later.

@Zippeyrude Does your model has the feature of auto-syncing videos to NAS?

A bit strange with the way Xiaomi implement this feature: the videos size on NAS are different from those on the microsd. It looks like Xiaomi re-read/re-process the videos on microsd and output them to new files, instead of copying them. That would cause more workload, I think. The camera is very hot!

The Xiaomi FW has the option iirc, but i cant verify atm as im on this updated version which doesnt have NAS option.

I found that once the SD card filled up the recording would stop, ie there was no looping like on a dashcam

Also, my camera kept falling into sleep mode for no reason.

@Zippeyrude How you got this hack working with your Model CMSXJ01C Cams? I have the same cams and cant get it working. Could you tell me which files and firmware you used? Tried everything but stucks with blue blinking led and "sending wifi discover" on my cams.

@Nuker1773 Can you post the ft_boot.log? I think there is an error during startup, which should appear in the boot log file.
