tps800 commented 5 months ago

Version

23.10.1

What desktop?

Community XFCE

Explain the issue and what happens

After applying latest updates using update-station, x11 does not start any more. Trying startx just gives /usr/local/bin/startxfce4 already running on display :0 – not true: ps axd does not report any such program.

Explain how to reproduce the bug?

Install an older version of GhostBSD, then use update station to upgrade. The upgrade will work without any errors, afterwards it will report version 23.10.1, as before. freebsd-version reports 13.2-STABLE for all: kernel, userland and ports.

What is the Expected behavior (if applicable)

Start latest GhostBSD including graphical login.
